Getting Started

Welcome to Selgeo! This guide walks you through your first steps as a partner, from creating your account to navigating the partner portal.

Creating your account

You can join as a partner in one of two ways:

  1. Invitation link — The company you are partnering with sends you an email or a link. Click the link and follow the steps to create your account.
  2. Application form — Some programs have a public application page. Fill in your details and submit. The company will review your application and let you know once you are approved.

During registration, you will provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • A password for your account

After you submit, check your email for a confirmation message.

First login

  1. Go to the partner portal URL provided by the company.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. If your application is still being reviewed, you will see a message letting you know. Once approved, you will have full access to the portal.

The partner portal has a sidebar (on desktop) or a menu icon (on mobile) with the following sections:

Dashboard

Your home page. It shows a summary of how your referrals are doing:

  • Clicks — How many people clicked your referral links
  • Conversions — How many of those clicks turned into paying customers
  • Commissions — How much you have earned
  • Conversion rate — The percentage of clicks that became conversions
  • Pending payout — How much is waiting to be paid out

Each card shows the current numbers alongside a comparison to the previous period, so you can see whether things are trending up or down.

You can filter the dashboard by date range and by program if you are part of more than one.

This is where you find and manage your referral links. Each link has a unique URL that tracks clicks back to you. See Referral Links for more details.

Promo Codes

If the company has set up promo codes for you, they appear here. You can share these codes with your audience. When someone uses your code at checkout, the sale is attributed to you.

Payouts

A history of your payouts, including amounts, dates, and statuses. See Earnings & Payouts for more details.

Activity

A timeline of everything that has happened on your account — clicks, conversions, commissions, and more. You can filter by type, program, and date.

Profile

Manage your account settings:

  • Personal details — Update your name and email
  • Password — Change your password
  • Appearance — Switch between light mode, dark mode, or match your system setting
  • Language — Choose your preferred language (7 languages available)

Languages

The partner portal is available in 7 languages. To change the language:

  1. Go to Profile.
  2. Use the Language selector.
  3. The portal immediately switches to your chosen language.

Your language preference is remembered, so you only need to set it once.
