Migrating from another tool
This page explains how to move an existing affiliate or partner programme — from a Rewardful, Tolt, FirstPromoter, or Affonso-style tool — onto Selgeo.
Recreate your programme
Start by rebuilding your programme's rules in Selgeo to match your current tool. Set your commission rules, approval mode, hold period, and minimum payout threshold so partners keep the same terms they had before. See Programme Settings for what each setting controls.
Install tracking
Selgeo tracks conversions through the tracking snippet and your Stripe connection. Follow the Quick Start to install the snippet and connect Stripe.
Do this in test mode first so you can confirm clicks and conversions land correctly before any real money is involved — see Test mode.
Bring your partners over
There is no bulk import — you re-onboard your partners manually. Two ways to do it:
- Create an invite link for each partner and send it to them directly.
- Share your public apply link and approve each partner as they apply.
Either route enrols the partner into your programme. See Invite partners for the full flow.
Recreate discount / promo codes
If your partners used discount codes in your old tool, recreate those codes in Selgeo so each partner's audience keeps the same code they are used to. This keeps existing links and printed codes working after the move.
What does not carry over
Historical clicks, conversions, and past commissions from your previous tool are not imported. Selgeo starts tracking from the moment you go live, and there is no CSV or bulk import today. Keep your old tool's reports for your records — Selgeo will not reconstruct them.
Go live
Once tracking is verified in test mode and your partners are enrolled, work through the Go-live checklist to switch your programme to live.
